Marian Rivera was born on August 12, 1984 in Madrid, Spain. Marian Rivera is a Filipina actress of a Spanish-Filipino descent although she has a spanish blood running on her veins but the uprising star heart's always belongs to the Filipino. Her father is Francisco Javier Garcia a Spaniard and her mother is Amalia Rivera a native from the Philippines. When she was 2 years old her parents got separated, and her mom took her and settled at Bacoor, Cavite where she grew up.

Marian Rivera seen in various GMA TV programs before she take the role of Marimar, where her name was completely shine as one of the newest sensation of Philippine showbiz. From then, Marian Rivera received several projects like being a cover girl of Cosmopolitan Magazine for the month of October 2007 and some product endorsement like Maxipeel with actress Kristine Hermosa and also her latest advertisement from Del Monte Fit n' Right with actress-host Marielle Rodriguez and GMA co-star Richard Guitierrez.
