Kapamilya Star Angel Locsin Hospitalized

Kapamilya star Angel Locsin was brought to the St. Luke’s Medical Center hospital last June 22, 2009 at about 11 p.m. because of a high vomiting with a high fever, according to her doctor the actress was diagnosed with a fever because of her very low platelet one of the common signs of a dengue victim.

“As of 5 a.m. (Sunday), her platelet count has gone up to 58,000. Her doctor is optimistic that she’s on her way to recovery. Angel would like to thank you all for your prayers,” this was the statement issued by her talent manager Becky Aguila. Some of her friends were very concern especially her family in the Sunday variety show ASAP and they are also offering prayers for her speedy recovery.

The actress was supposedly to do guestings in some of the Kapamilya network shows like Entertainment Live of Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga and The Buzz, but it was all cancelled due to her hospitalization.

Also on the other network it was reported last week that young actress Pauleen Luna was also hospitalized due to dengue, but after with some medication joined with prayes of her friends and family she was already recovered and out of the hospital. The actress is now back to work at the noontime show of GMA-7 "Eat Bulaga" as one of the co-host.
