Filipina TV sensation Marian Rivera was interviewed yesterday in a press conference by some entertainment insiders at the executive lounge of GMA-7 regarding with her newest primetime series with the Kapuso network “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa aking Tadyang” with Dingdong Dantes as her leading man. Originally its pilot telecast will be on February 9, 2009 but it was moved earlier because of the demand of her avid fans. According to the pinay idol, a lot of their fans were so excited to watch their upcoming series because it’s been a long time that the love team was seen on the television, and it was during their last fanstaserye that ended last October 2008.

The actress also asked about the real score with her leading man, although she denied that they are now serious in a relationship but she admits that they are dating, and she’s not closing here door if the actor will court her, but a follow-up question was also asked to the actress about the real reason why she got separated with her long time boyfriend Ervic Vijandre. According to Marian it was a very complicated matter why they got separated, her ex-boyfriend doesn’t want her to accept the offer to pose as a 2009 calendar girl of a liquor brand, and it was always the issue of their misunderstanding until such time she decided to end up their relationship, and she denied that there is no third party involve.

Kris Aquino on "Boy and Kris" Issue

“Boy and Kris” will remain as one of the shows of ABS-CBN according to award-winning actress Kris Aquino, co-host of the morning talk show along with Boy Abunda. There were reports spreading that the said show will be terminated due to its poor rating and it will be replace by a another talk show which will be hosted by three pinay celebrities, and the name of former sexy star Lorna Tolentino came out as one of the hosts.

These reports were all denied by Kris and Boy and they said that their show has a full support to the viewers and advertisers aided by its popularity in the Visayas and Mindanao, and in fact they are the one who has a higher rating on their timeslot. Aside from high rating of "Boy & Kris," the two said they are proud that the show has been recognized by different award-giving bodies.

Among the awards the show and the hosts have won are: Best Celebrity Talk Show Hosts and Best Celebrity Talk Show from the PMPC Star Awards; Best Celebrity Talk Show host for Boy Abunda from the UP Los Baños Gandingan Award; and, the Silver World Medal for Talk and Interview from the 2009 New York Festival.

Kapamilya Star Angel Locsin Hospitalized

Kapamilya star Angel Locsin was brought to the St. Luke’s Medical Center hospital last June 22, 2009 at about 11 p.m. because of a high vomiting with a high fever, according to her doctor the actress was diagnosed with a fever because of her very low platelet one of the common signs of a dengue victim.

“As of 5 a.m. (Sunday), her platelet count has gone up to 58,000. Her doctor is optimistic that she’s on her way to recovery. Angel would like to thank you all for your prayers,” this was the statement issued by her talent manager Becky Aguila. Some of her friends were very concern especially her family in the Sunday variety show ASAP and they are also offering prayers for her speedy recovery.

The actress was supposedly to do guestings in some of the Kapamilya network shows like Entertainment Live of Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga and The Buzz, but it was all cancelled due to her hospitalization.

Also on the other network it was reported last week that young actress Pauleen Luna was also hospitalized due to dengue, but after with some medication joined with prayes of her friends and family she was already recovered and out of the hospital. The actress is now back to work at the noontime show of GMA-7 "Eat Bulaga" as one of the co-host.

Singing Filipina sensation and Youtube princess is now back in the Philippines after her historical presentation in the pre-inauguration ball of President elect Barack Obama. The young talented pinay arrived yesterday January 22, 2009 at the Ninoy Aquino International airport and then she was accompanied by her relatives.

Charice shared here experienced during her presentation at the Mandarin Oriental and Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel both located in the Washington D.C. where the event took place. According to her, at first she felt very nervous because she will be performing in the front of different set of people unlike on her previous concert. This time she will be dealing with mostly politicians and although the main person President Barack Obama was not there to witness her talent but he was represented by his brother Soetoro-Ng. Most of the people were amazed with the great singing performance of the petite singer, and she felt very proud as a Filipino.

The Star in a Million will not stay longer her in the Philippines because of some commitments abroad especially she is doing now with her first solo international album which will be released this coming month.

Marian Rivera Upcoming Movies

Pinay star Marian Rivera is set to do two movies this year with Regal Film, according to a showbiz insider. One thing should be different on her upcoming movies is that she will be paired with two different leading men.

She will be doing her second movie with co-Kapuso star hunk-actor Dennis Trillo, their last movie was entitled Pamahiin together with actress Iya Villania and pinoy star Paolo Contis. Her second film with Dennis will be a horror movie dubbed as “Tarot.”

The another movie that she will be doing with the Regal Entertainment is a comedy, and this time she will be doing it with a ABS-CBN talent, comedian-dancer Vhong Navarro and the title of that movie was not yet confirm at this time.

After My Girl, My Name is Kim Sam Soon and the soon to be shown All About Eve, another koreanovela is about to have its Philippine version. The GMA-Kapuso Station have acquired the rights of 2004 no.1 hit Koreanovela “Full House” lead by Asian Heartthrob Rain who plays the role of Justine while her leading lady Song Hye Gyo plays the character of Jessie Han.

There are reports came out that Pinoy actor Richard Gutierrez and Filipina rising star Marian Rivera will be the main option of the GMA-Kapuso to do the local version of the Koreanovela, but it is not yet final because both Filipino celebrities have their own upcoming shows with the TV station, for Marian Rivera she is once paired with her two-time leading man Dingdong Dantes for the remake of the classic thriller “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang” while pinoy heartthrob Richard Richard Gutierrez will be making his another action project entitled “Zorro” a Mexican legend which previously personalized by Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas together with her sexy leading lady Catherine Zeta-Jones.
